Pistachio-Filled Protein Croissant

Pastry, protein, pistachios — this might just be the perfect breakfast.

High-protein, easy to make and super satisfying, this pistachio protein yoghurt-filled croissant recipe is the perfect macro-friendly breakfast pastry.

Ready in just a few minutes and packing an impressive 35g of protein per serving, you'll savour every bite.

Makes 1

Ingredients

  • 70g 0% fat Greek yoghurt
  • 1scoop Impact Whey Protein - Pistachio Ice Cream
  • Handful of pistachios (shelled)
  • 1 croissant
  • Melted dark chocolate and crushed pistachios for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the yoghurt and protein powder to make a smooth paste.

  2. Add a handful of pistachios and mix well.

  3. Next, warm up the croissant in an air fryer for 1 minute or the microwave for 15 seconds.

  4. Add your filling to your croissant with a piping bag or squeeze bottle.

  5. Add optional toppings, like a drizzle of melted dark chocolate and a scattering of crushed pistachios, for added flavour.

  6. Enjoy immediately while still warm.
