This sweet high-protein yoghurt bark is perfect to have on standby for post-gym cravings.

Craving a snack with crunch but trying to cut down on crisps and biscuits? @healthy_floflo has just the thing with this sweet and simple yoghurt bark recipe. Coming in at only 80 calories a slice, they’re a macro-friendly option that will also help you top up your protein intake.

Her secret to the perfect moorish snack is to add a generous dollop of peanut butter to the yoghurt mix. And you can make it your own by switching in your favourite protein flavour or experimenting with the toppings you add. Flo’s winning combo of dark chocolate, chopped almonds and sweet blueberries is definitely worth a try though.

It’s the ideal healthy treat to batch-make on a Sunday evening so you have a stash in your freezer for the week ahead. We love having something so delicious and high in protein on standby after a gym session, so you can instantly refuel without having to spend time prepping.

Makes 10 slices

Ingredients

Instructions

1.

Add the yoghurt, Impact Whey Protein, and peanut butter to a bowl, and mix well until smooth and combined.

2.

Once you have a smooth mixture, spread onto a baking tray into one even layer (Flo lines hers with baking paper to make it easier to remove after).

3.

Add all of your favourite toppings — Flo uses blueberries with chopped almonds and dark chocolate pieces.

4.

Once ready, carefully place in the freezer for a couple of hours until set and solid.

5.

Remove from the freezer and cut into pieces (or just break with your hands) and get stuck in! Keep any leftovers in a container in your freezer to grab and enjoy whenever you need a sweet and simple snack.
