Oozing cheesy bites with a chilli kick.

When you get in after a long day at work and you need (yes, need) something immediately, nothing beats these super-easy sweet chilli cheese bites from @hollyb_fitness. Combining a crispy sweet chilli coating with an irresistible oozing cheese centre, they’re every bit as satisfying as they sound.

This simple, no-skill recipe is perfect for hitting between-meal savoury cravings — and it’s ready in basically no time at all. And all you need is three ingredients and a spare 10 minutes to whip them up. Where’s the catch?

This recipe is designed for the perfect solo snack, but you can easily double or triple up if you plan to share. Simple.

Ingredients

Instructions

1.

Pour the Protein Crisps into a bowl and crush into small crumbs (you may find this easier to do while still in the bag, as long as you make sure to open and then fold over the top first).

2.

Next, crack the egg into a separate bowl or jug, and whisk with a fork.

3.

Unwrap each cheese and dunk into egg mix. Make sure to fully coat and then roll in the crisp crumbs until fully covered.

4.

Place in the air fryer for 4 minutes. Your cheese bites should be perfectly crunchy on the outside and nice and gooey on the inside.

5.

Serve with reduced-sugar sweet chilli sauce and enjoy immediately while still fresh and hot (be careful not to burn yourself on the hot cheese centre!)
