Post-workout, mid-morning, or before bed. Every occasion is just right for a protein flapjack.

There's no snack quite like a flapjack. Actually, scratch that. There's no snack quite like a protein flapjack. And this recipe from

does not disappoint. It's so simple, tasty, and packed full of protein. We're looking for a flaw, but we honestly can’t find one. Good luck eating just one of these...

Servings:  Serves 10

Ingredients

  • 200g porridge oats
  • 3tbsp honey
  • few drops vanilla FlavDrops
  • 100ml semi skimmed milk
  • 45g chocolate protein spread
  • 50g vanilla protein powder

Instructions

  1. First, put the oats, honey, FlavDrops and milk into a bowl and mix until combined.

  2. Microwave the mixture until there’s no liquid left.

  3. Spoon the mixture into a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  4. Flatten the oat mixture into the corners of the tray.

  5. In a separate dish melt the chocolate spread, and then mix in your protein powder.

  6. Spoon the chocolate mixture on top of the oats and put in the fridge for two-three hours.

  7. When finished, slice into 10 pieces and enjoy post-workout.
