A personal trainer might be at the top of your wish list, but we’ve got something just as good.

MY-P/Pocket PT — your very own fitness coach, or more specifically your own team of fitness coaches.

In the Myprotein app you’ll  find expert advice from some of the best in the business: Aubrey Mvula, Lauren Evans, Nerissa Shea and Tom Hall.

All are qualified personal trainers with a whole host of other qualifications under their belts, and they’re on hand to provide you with some of the best advice to keep you on track.

What is it?

There are plenty of bite-size videos will be added to the MY-P/Pocket PT page in the Myprotein app.

The videos offer expert advice on mindset, motivation, nutrition and recovery. This is the sort of stuff you’d usually pay a personal trainer to walk you through, but we’re giving you four experts, at the touch of a button, and all for free.

They delve into topics like ‘how does alcohol affect your gym progress?’, ‘does sleep benefit recovery?’ and ‘how to make your social media feed a positive and resourceful space’. All you need to do is open the app, get your dose of info from the pros, and then go about your day.

It’s all so quick and easy — each video fits all the need-to-know information in just one or two minutes. You'll have probably watched longer TikToks!

After completing an internship with Myprotein, Emily returned to university to finish her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing. With experience in lifestyle writing, Emily aims to entertain and educate through her work. Her focuses include recipes, real and inspiring stories, and working with writers to help provide easy-to-digest evidence-based research. Her work on recipes has been previously featured in The Supplement magazine, with a particular focus on high-protein, nutritious meals, plus advice on how to properly fuel your body. Outside of work, Emily’s top priority is food. She’s a self-professed star baker and a connoisseur of all things baked. In her spare time, she’s either cooking up a storm, our looking out for the opportunity to try out Manchester’s newest restaurants. But as a huge fan of carbs, if it’s not pasta or pasta-adjacent, she’s not interested. If she’s not in the kitchen, she’s tucked up with a book for an early night, or you’ll find her in the gym working up a sweat. Afterall, all those carbs require quite the appetite.
