Got the midday munchies and need something super-simple to hit the spot? This quick quesadilla is an absolute lunchtime winner.

Filled with tender chicken pieces and oozing with melted mozzarella, it’s a flavour sensation sure to fill you up while hitting your macros. Plus, it’s packed with 64g of protein, making it ideal for hitting those macros.

Top tip: a high-protein tortilla wrap is a super-easy way to boost the protein content of this recipe — they’re widely available and can be found in most supermarkets.

Makes 1

Ingredients

  • 150g chicken breast (diced)
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. ground paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 high-protein wrap
  • 30g Sugar-Free Sauce (Sweet Chilli)
  • 50g light mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Season the diced chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper, then toss to fully coat.

  2. Then cook the chicken pieces in a frying pan over a medium-high heat until completely white and cooked through.

  3. Add the pieces to one side of your high-protein wrap, followed by a generous drizzle of Sweet Chilli Sugar-Free Sauce and the grated cheese on top.

  4. Fold the wrap over, place in the air fryer, and cook for 6 minutes at 180C.

  5. Enjoy immediately.
