Spread a little love this Valentine’s with this homemade cookie cereal.

Our kitchen queen

is serving up yet another incredibly simple recipe. This heart-shaped cookie cereal isn’t only high in protein, it’s probably the cutest damn thing you can make for some special this Valentine’s Day (and yes, that someone special can absolutely be yourself).

Don’t worry if you can’t get hold of a heart cutter, the recipe tastes just as good in regular small circles or balls. It just gets 80% less Instagram-worthy.

Flo recommends having your cookie cereal with your favourite protein shake poured over the top for extra protein content and sweetness too. *immediately adds cereal milk flavoured Impact Whey Protein to the basket*

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C.

  2. Add the flour, white chocolate Protein Spread, and three quarters of an egg to a mixing bowl and use your hands to combine into a solid dough.

  3. Add a few drops of pink food colouring and stir through to get an even colouring.

  4. Roll out the dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Stamp out little hearts with a mini cookie cutter (if you don’t have a heart-shaped one, you can just create little circles instead, it tastes just as good).

  5. Bake for 5-6 minutes until crispy.

  6. Store in an air-tight container or serve immediately with milk or even a protein shake for an extra boost.
