Delicious Creamy Tomato Salmon Pasta

Remember, if you choose to absolutely drown your pasta in cheese, then the macros will differ, but at the end of the day, what’s a pasta dish without copious amounts of cheese?

Servings:  Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 400g salmon fillet
  • 2tsp paprika
  • 1tsp garlic granules
  • 2tsp Italian herbs
  • 1tsp garlic paste
  • 220g dried macaroni
  • 250ml light cream
  • 1tbsp tomato purée
  • 20g parmesan

Instructions

  1. First, put your pasta on to cook according to the instructions on the packet. 

  2. While pasta is cooking, prepare your salmon by slicing it into small chunks, spraying with low-calorie cooking spray and sprinkling with paprika, garlic, Italian herbs and salt. 

  3. Pan fry the salmon until cooked through. 

  4. Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the pan. Add garlic, tomato puree, Italian herbs and paprika to the pan. 

  5. When those ingredients are combined, stir through your cream and add a bit of pasta water. 

  6. Then add some parmesan and your pasta. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce. 

  7. Add the salmon to the pasta, serve up and dig in.
