RECIPE

Salted Caramel Weetabix Oats | High-Protein Breakfast

Looking for a new breakfast to get your day off to a strong start? This Weetabix recipe is for you!

This incredible overnight Weetabix recipe from

is sweet, simple, and loaded with a huge hit of protein to get you set up for the day ahead.

Despite being under 500 calories per serving and pretty low in fat, El says it tastes just like you’re eating an indulgent cheesecake — and who wouldn’t want to dig dessert for breakfast?

Serves 1

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. First, crumble up the Weetabix into your Tupperware or a bowl and then sprinkle with powdered sweetener if desired.

  2. Add a splash of oat milk, just enough to dampen the mixture but not to completely cover.

  3. In a separate bowl, add the Greek yoghurt and protein powder and stir until smooth and combined. Add a couple of drops of maple syrup flavoured Flavdrops and mix in.

  4. Pour the yoghurt topping on top of the Weetabix and smooth out into an even layer. If you’re feeling extra, add a drizzle of caramel syrup like El does (or our Sugar-Free Butterscotch Syrup works just as well) and swirl it into the yoghurt layer with a fork.

  5. Leave to chill in the fridge overnight, then enjoy!
