It’s our birthday and we’re proud to be able to celebrate 15 years of fuelling your ambition.

We’ve come so far from where we began — and we know this wouldn’t have been possible without all the people who make up Team Myprotein. Staff, ambassadors, athletes — and of course, every single one of our customers.

Which is why for our birthday we wanted to champion the achievements of people that have been part of our journey. The people who we’re proud to support.

Two individuals in particular have inspired us with their incredible stories of determination, drive, and ambition — Joyce Mvula and Max Whitlock.

Joyce’s Story

Originally from Malawi, 24-year old Joyce Mvula left everything behind to pursue a netball career in the UK, including her fiancé and young son. She plays in the Superleague for Manchester Thunder and is proud to represent her country as she strives to become one of the world’s best netballers.

Max’s Story

Max has left his mark on British gymnastics forever. A five-time Olympic medallist, he made history when he became Britain’s first ever gold medallist in artistic gymnastics — winning both the men’s floor and pommel horse at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

He now has his sights firmly set on Tokyo 2020, and has made the ambitious decision to increase his training from focusing on two pieces of apparatus to four.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday without a party… make sure you check out our Instagram feed @myproteinuk on Thursday 23rd May.

Plus, you can join in the celebrations with unmissable deals right here.

Lauren is an English Literature graduate originally from the South. She’s always loved swimming, has discovered the power of weight training over the past few years, and has lots of room for improvement in her weekly hot yoga class. On the weekends she’s usually cooking or eating some kind of brunch, and she enjoys trying out new recipes with her housemates – especially since shaking off student habits, like mainly surviving off pasta. Above all, she’s a firm believer in keeping a balance between the gym and gin. Find out more about Lauren’s experience here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/lauren-dawes-b4416aaa/
