Myprotein x HYROX
HYROX and Myprotein share a mission — to build a global health movement that empowers you to demand more. More reps, more sets, more out of your fitness.
You don’t need to be the fittest person in the world to take part. But what you do need is the right fuel to power you through every lunge, every leap, every lift. That’s where Myprotein comes in.
HYROX is the fitness competition made for every body, and Myprotein is proud to supply the fuel to help you get there.

FAQ's about HYROX
HYROX is the fitness race you’ve always been training for. It combines running with functional fitness where participants run 1km followed by one functional workout, repeated eight times. HYROX is made for every body, with different categories for different abilities. These include Open, Pro, Doubles, and Relay.
HYROX training requires both strength and endurance. 50% of the race is running, up to a total of 8km. In between each run is a functional fitness workout like a sled pull or a farmers carry. This means it’s important to gain plenty of experience running after strength training too.
Another aspect you might neglect is form. Get to know the HYROX movement standards to make sure you’re training correctly to avoid injury and incorrect movements.
The letters in the word HYROX don’t stand for anything. HYROX is simply a combination of the words “hybrid” and “rockstar”.
The race consists of eight 1km runs either side of eight functional fitness exercises.
The format is as follows:
- 1km run
- SkiErg
