Anyone rating this product highly has obviously never eaten a pancake and enjoys the flavour and texture of cardboard. Had one serving and dumped the bag in the bin. Myprotein have a lot of great products, this isn't one of them.

The golden syrup protein pancake mix is sensational. So quick and easy to prepare. Generous serving sizes and great macros! The golden syrup flavour is really tasty too! Not an overly protein taste and nice and sweet! Love love love!

Amazing with sugar free maple syrup and fresh fruit!

I really enjoyed them. I brought the maple flavoured one. Mixed it with just water and cooked it with just a little bit of butter. It was very sweet and can make 3 pancakes in one serving. The texture is what you expect from protein pancakes. It's not light and fluffy but more dense. The texture is similar to a omelette is my opinion so I enjoy put a little bit of hazelnut and rolling it up and eating it that way, kept together well. Kept me full for ages without feeling too heavy. Definitely want to keep having these, good way to get more protein in your diet.

Horrifically disguisting

The flavour of this mix is horrific. You will taste it long after you have tried to eat it. It mixes easy enough, it cooks nicely, but when you go to eat it, the artificial taste is overpowering and unfortunately the mix is still rubbery even with the lowest heat and fastest cook time. It smells amazing. It just doesn't taste great. It would be better unflavoured so when you add sugar free syrup to it, it's not trying to overpower the syrup flavour with its own flavour.

Goes Well With:

The bin.

Not worth it

They are imposible to digest. Whoever said they are tasty, they must refer to the artificial flavoring because everything else about them is terrible. Flat and dry as a cardboard.

Great for both pancakes and wraps!

I purchased both the golden syrup and unflavoured pancake mixes. I agree with many of the other reviews that golden syrup is far too sweet, even after I had mixed it in a 1:1 ratio with the unflavoured. For fluffy pancakes, make sure to use cow's milk! I use whole milk. I find that the pancakes turn out SO dry and dense when mixed with plant milk or water. Having said this, I do like to combine the unflavoured mix with almond milk to make wraps instead of pancakes. They do turn out quite rubbery and dense but if you can look past the texture, I think it's worth the macros. I use 25g of the mix with around 45-50g of almond milk for one large wrap. This comes to 17g of protein for around 100kcal which is unbeatable by any other wraps I’ve seen sold in supermarkets. I do have to use a lot of sauces (hummus, low-sugar bbq, pesto, cottage cheese) inside to conceal the dry/rubbery-ness of the wrap.  Beware though, I purchased these on sale in late July and both bags expire in October and November, although this shouldn’t be an issue for me as I will likely finish these by then. It seems that MyProtein tends to overstock products and then puts items about to go out of date on clearance, so just be weary!

Goes Well With:

whole milk for fluffy pancakes. drench in sugar-free maple syrup, peanut butter, berries, etc. water or almond milk for wraps. use for your favourite wrap ingredients- savoury or sweet

The flavour in these are amazing! No protein aftertaste at all. If you overcook them they are a bit chewy, as they do cook really quickly, but as long as you don't overlook them, then they are fine! Very tasty and have become my go to breakfast!

Too sweet

It's very very sweet and artificial in taste. It doesn't taste anything close to pancake. The texture of pancake is very dry and hard to chew. Overall, disappointing from myprotein.
