Research has shown that most people with coeliac disease can tolerate gluten-free oats with no problems.  The issue is that sometimes oats are produced in the same place as wheat, barley and rye, and then become contaminated with these other grains. A very small number of people with coeliac disease may still be sensitive to Gluten-Free, uncontaminated oat products.” In the UK uncontaminated oats that test at 20 parts per million (ppm) Gluten or less may be labelled ‘Gluten-Free’, however in Australia, the same product tested to meet the 20mg per 100g (equivalent to 20 parts per million) limit can only be labelled as 'Low Gluten'.

Our 100% Gluten-Free Instant Oats are a great form of complex carbohydrates. The oats come as an ultra-fine powder and make breakfast super-simple and nutritious, as they provide a blend of carbs and protein, which is key for optimal recovery1,2 — ideal whatever your fitness goals.

Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle†. Therefore in order to replenish muscular glycogen stores we recommend adding 2 1/3 large scoops (100g) to 150-250ml of water or your favourite beverage in a Myprotein shaker within 4 hours of exercise. †Beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise.
